WHEEEE! It's the Eighth episode of The Cloister Room, a podcast about Doctor Who and other things. This week, the "Doctor Who" is Colin Baker's "Attack of the Cybermen. The "Other Things" are Fringe! Well, I guess that would be an "Other Thing" singular. Next week, we'll be talking about "The Happiness Patrol," featuring Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor. The week after that we'll be talking about an Eighth Doctor story... of your choosing! But wait! Wasn't there only one Eighth Doctor story? Well, we're throwing Big Finish's "Blood of the Daleks" into the mix, just to make things interesting. Comment here on this post, or leave an @ reply for @TheCloisterRoom on Twitter telling us which we should discuss. Oh, and be sure to let us know what you think of the podcast, through either of those ways or by e-mail at thecloisterroom@gmail.com.
Show topics: 00:00-01:18 - Introduction 01:19-17:34 - Listener Feedback and "Attack of the Cybermen" 17:35-21:23 - Next Week 21:24-24:15 - Karen Gillan's tragic life 24:16-29:56 - Fringe season three premiere (spoilers!) 29:57-end - Outroduction By the way, this week we mentioned TachyonTV's "Paula Moore" song. You can hear it and many other amusing TachyonTV song parodies On "TachyonTV the Album." It's the third song in the compilation!

Good show, fellas. You were more than fair in your review, both to the story and the Sixth Doctor in general. I may have jumped the gun with my previous comment, but I think I was justified at the time. (And thanks for taking my comment seriously. So few podcasts ever do. :) I'm not watching Fringe, but that might change after learning of their homage to The Prisoner. On the other hand, I have a problem pledging long-term loyalty to FOX sci-fi shows, for the simple reason most of them never have a long term. I'm voting for Blood of the Daleks. The less said about the TV movie, the better.
