WHAAAT? It's the seventh episode of The Cloister Room, a podcast about Doctor Who and other things. This week, the "Doctor Who" is Peter Davison's swan song, "The Caves of Androzani." The "Other Things" are Buffy and Angel! Next week, we'll be talking about "Attack of the Cybermen," featuring Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor. The week after that we'll be talking about a Seventh Doctor story... of your choosing! Comment here on this post, or leave an @ reply for @TheCloisterRoom on Twitter telling us which Seventh Doctor story we should discuss. Stories not on DVD are fine! Oh, and be sure to let us know what you think of the podcast, through either of those ways or by e-mail at thecloisterroom@gmail.com.

To say I was surprised at your lukewarm reception of Caves of Androzani would be a vast understatement. At the least I expected some recognition for the intricacies of Robert Holmes' script, or some acknowledgement for Graeme Harper's direction. But you didn't slag it too badly, so there's that. Frankly, I'm not too enthusiastic for your upcoming review of Attack of the Cybermen based on what you've said already about Colin Baker. I'll reserve judgment further until the actual review. As for the Seventh Doctor episode, instead of nominating Revelation of the Daleks, I'm going with Survival, the final story of the classic era. Not to be a contrarian, but just for variety.
